The Sri Lanka Men's National Blitz Chess Championship was held 21st Friday August 2020 at Sathara Building, Maharagama.
CM Ranindu Dilshan Liyanage - the number 11 seated player from Ananda College Colombo managed to become the Men's National Blitz Chess Champion 2020 by scoring 100%, and a full point ahead of C. Lamahewa who became the 1st runner-up with better tiebreak against C.C. Weerasinghe.
The nine rounds event was conducted under the time control of 3 minutes at the start of the game and 2 seconds increment per move for each player.
