The Sri Lanka Women's National Blitz Chess Championship was held 21st Friday, August 2020 at Sathara Building, Maharagama.
M. Tharushi Sandeepani - the number 3 seated player from Devi Balika Vidyalaya Colombo 08 managed to become the Women's National Blitz Chess Champion 2020 by scoring 100%, and a full point ahead of WCM T.H.D. Niklesha Tharushi who became the 1st runner-up.
The seven rounds event was conducted under the time control of 3 minutes at the start of the and 2 seconds increment per move for each player.
