Youth Girls Chess Grand Prix 2020 Champion -Dahamdi

Inaugural Sri Lanka Youth Girls Grand Prix 2020 Under 14 Years was started at the Headquarters of the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka, Nugegoda on 29th August 2020 as Group X and Y, 2 separate events of 12 players each and conducted semifinals and finals to find the Champion, 1st and 2nd from the top 2 players of both Groups.
WCM K.M. Dahamdi Sandula crowned as the Champion by beating Chanethma Devangi Marasinghe who became the 1st Runner up. WCM Ehsha Mishela Pallie secured the 2nd Runner up by beating Oneli Omaya Wivalaarachchi at the Finals.
Chess Federation is doing a remarkable timely service going beyond the regular tournaments and introducing the events, especially for the Young Sri Lankan Players. The players and the coaches appreciate the opportunities CFSL discovers.
